Dè thog d' ùidh anns a' chànan? Tha a' Ghàidhlig cho ceòlmhor agus cho beairteach a thaobh òrain, sgeulachdan, abairtean is eile. Tha na Gàidheil cho coibhneil is gun a bhith cho làn dhiubh fhèin.
A bheil molaidhean agad airson luchd-ionnsachaidh eile? Èist ri ceòl agus ris an rèidio. Gabh a h-uile cothrom gus Gàidhlig a bhruidhinn! Na biodh eagal ort mearachdan a dhèanamh.
Ciamar a tha thu a' cleachdadh Gàidhlig nad bheatha làitheil? Tha mi ag obair air prògraman naidheachd a' BhBC, nì mi beagan seinn Gàidhlig, bidh mi a' sgrìobhadh colbh Gàidhlig dhan “Scottish Catholic Observer” agus bidh mi a' dol gu seirbheisean Gàidhlig ann an Eaglais na h-Alba “Naomh Colm Cille” (St. Columba).

Where do you stay/are from? I'm from Germany , but I lived in the Isle of Skye for over five years. I live in Inverness now
What inspired you to learn Gaelic? Gaelic is so rich and melodic through its songs, stories, phrases and other stuff. The Gaels are so kind and so modest too!
What tips do you have for other Gaelic learners? Listen to music and to the radio. Use every opportunity to speak Gaelic
How do you use Gaelic in your daily life? I work on Gaelic news programmes! I will sing a bit of Gaelic and I write a Gaelic column, I also go to Gaelic church services.
Do you have a favourite Gaelic expression? “Is toigh le bò spùtadh, bò spùtadh eile!” Where one cow pats, another will do just that! This literally means ‘Where you find one thing, a similar thing isn't too far away'.
