BBC Radio Scotland is playing its part in the Highland 2007 celebrations with a dedicated weekly radio programme. Highland Cafe is a one-stop-shop events guide featuring live music from local musicians, Highland news, interviews, events reviews and previews.
The programme is being hosted by musicians and BBC Radio and television presenters.
They include Bruce Macgregor of Blazin' Fiddles and the BBC's Mary Ann Kennedy, Morag MacDonald and Lindsay Cannon.
Highland Cafe will broadcast every Wednesday afternoon between 1315 and 1400 GMT on BBC Radio Scotland.
It is also available as a listen again programme on bbc.co.uk/radioscotland.
