The man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing is expected to be released next week on compassionate grounds, the BBC understands.
Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi, who is suffering from terminal prostate cancer, has been serving his jail sentence at Greenock Prison.
Katherine Flynn, whose son was one of the 270 people who died, says she is very concerned about the prospect of Megrahi's release.
She says Mr Megrahi showed no compassion when planted a bomb on the Pan Am Flight 103 so why should the UK.
