Lockerbie relative: Appeal should go on

The Libyan man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing is likely to be freed on compassionate grounds next week, the BBC understands.

Pamela Dix, who lost her brother Peter in the tragedy, is the secretary of the victims' group UK Families Flight 103.

She told the BBC that she did not know if Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi was guilty or innocent and said it was important the appeal process continued.
