American relatives of those killed in the Lockerbie bombing 21 years ago have expressed outrage that the only man ever convicted of the act could be granted early release from jail.
Abdel Basset Al Megrahi , who has terminal cancer, is serving a life sentence in a Scottish jail, but could be freed on compassionate grounds as early as next week.
Megrahi was convicted by a Scottish court in 2001 of bombing Pan Am flight 103, taking 270 lives but there remain concerns about whether he was actually guilty.
Glenn Campbell reports.
