Union says car deal is a 'first step'

Business Secretary Lord Mandelson has outlined a package of government support for the UK car industry potentially worth up to �2.3bn.

Derek Simpson, joint General Secretary of the union Unite has described the package as a "very welcome first step" but said "much more needs to be done".
