Hospital access problems 'solved'
Planning problems that were stalling a new hospital in Lincolnshire have been solved, officials have said.

South Holland District Council has already twice turned down the plans for a 24m hospital in Spalding.

Eastern Lincolnshire NHS Trust, which is hoping to start the work next year, said problems with access to the site had been solved.

Access on Spalding Road in Pinchbeck was not considered safe, but work is now being carried out to improve it.

The trust has been working with Lincolnshire Highways to redesign the entrance.

The council, which also had queries about drainage and car parking, will hold a meeting to consider the plans.
