A compassionate appeal for money to fly home the body of a Polish woman who was murdered in Bristol recently has raised almost 10,000.

Karolina Mikolajewska, 20, had come to England to earn money to send back to her sick parents.

Ms Mikolajewska, 20, was found dead in a flat in Patchway. The car belonging to the prime suspect, Clive Hayes, 54, crashed into a shop and exploded.

Remaining monies will go to Karolina's mother who requires an operation.

Ms Mikolajewska had been working as a care worker in South Gloucestershire for three weeks before she died.
