Dead woman is discovered in flat
Coniston Road
The flat has been sealed-off but the road remains open
A murder investigation has been launched by police after the body of a woman was found dead in a flat in Patchway near Bristol.

Officers were called to Wordsworth House in Coniston Road on Tuesday after a phone call where they found the body of a woman in her 20s.

Crime scene investigators are searching the flat and police are carrying out house-to-house inquiries.

The area around the flat has been sealed off.

A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out on the woman on Thursday.

She has not been officially identified but is believed to be of Polish origin and not thought to be a resident of the property.
