Islanders in Jersey are being asked to tell the States how it can get its message across more effectively. A major aim of the States' Strategic Plan was to find ways of involving the public in the way government works.
Several workshops are to be held involving civil servants and community groups to engage the public and improve communication.
The Chamber of Commerce, the Citizen's Advice Bureau and the Portuguese Consulate are among those taking part.
The island's chief minister, Senator Frank Walker, said communication had improved in the past few years, but more still needed to be done.
