About 150 people have worked on improving the States' website |
Jersey's official government website has been relaunched. The States said it had been designed to be easier to use, with islanders being able to access information on every department from one page.
As well as allowing more people to use the public services online, the States also hopes it will attract more visitors and businesses to Jersey.
The revamp has cost 84,000, which included buying new software and having 150 people work on improving it.
The chief executive of the Council of Ministers, Bill Ogley, said despite what sounded like a large amount of money being put into the site's redevelopment, in the long-term it should be cheaper to run than the States' old site.
