Anti drink-drive campaign nets 48
Forty eight people have been arrested as part of Guernsey's Christmas anti drink-drive campaign.

The seasonal initiative is being run jointly between the island's police and drug strategy department.

It is the first year when road-side breath tests have been used to detect motorists over the legal limit.

Latest figures show 23 people were arrested in November and 18 so far this month. The total is identical to last year's figure.
