Group to debate airport's future
Guernsey airport
The group will give airport decision-makers more information
A new group has been formed to contribute ideas towards the future development of Guernsey Airport.

Representatives from airlines, support engineers, aviation firms and freight services will have regular meetings with the airport's authorities.

It is the first time airport employees, customers and staff will have had a voice over issues ranging from aircraft parking to resurfacing the runway.

The move has been welcomed by the airport's bosses.

Airport director Colin le Ray said: "The group will be enable us to sound out and take advice from everyone who works with the airport.

"Together, hopefully, we will provide the Public Services Department, which makes the decision about the airport, with any more information it might need about future plans."
