Flights at Guernsey Airport suffered no disruption on Monday morning despite a firefighters' pay dispute. Flybe was forced to cancel services over the weekend because of reduced fire cover for large aircraft.
Airport firefighters want a pay increase in line with the cost of living. They have rejected an offer of 4.5% and await an industrial tribunal.
The airport's authorities have not ruled out delays in future as a result of the dispute.
Meanwhile, a serious technical fault to Guernsey's mail plane is being blamed for postal delays.
Letters sent from the Bailwick over the weekend arrived in the UK on Monday and will be delivered on Tuesday.
Island-bound mail is expected to touch down on Monday afternoon.
