The election of States president will be held on 20 November

Four current States members whose terms expire next month seek re-election. They are: Lin Maurice, Debbie Burgess, Ralph Burridge and Barry Pengilley.

Former States member Chris Main, who retired earlier this year, has also decided to stand.

The remaining candidates are: Susan Allen, Barbara Benfield, Gill Lowe, Lois Fitzgerald, and William Walden.

Nominations closed on Tuesday and polling will take place on 11 December.
