Sudan's challenging national elections explained

On the eve of Sudan's first multi-party elections for a quarter of a century, there have been further calls for a postponement in the voting.

Most of the opposition are boycotting the poll, leaving the field clear for President Omar al-Bashir to win the presidential race.

The BBC's Zeinab Badawi reports from Khartoum on why this is such a challenging election to hold.
