US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in South Africa where she is urging the government to do more to bring about change in neighbouring Zimbabwe.
Speaking at a news conference, she said that the United States was "committed" to helping Zimbabwe, and that sanctions against the country were intended to "influence" the leadership "without hurting the people".
