The hijacked US ship freed by its crew has reportedly set sail for Kenya, but its captain remains adrift in a lifeboat held by pirates.
He was taken from the cargo ship, Maersk Alabama, after it came under attack on Wednesday.
A US warship on anti-pirate patrol in the area has sailed to the ship.
