AM: Today I've gotta busy schedule but you know Robbo, I'll never turn down a party. The popular Wednesday night street party at Stone Love's HQ returned after a two month break. It was work related and somebody had to check out Weddy Weddy Wednesdays. The first night back was a roadblock, cars lined the streets of Kingston from the bottom end of Burlington Avenue to Halfway Tree. The jerk chicken and fried fish street vendors made sure they didn't miss this opportunity.

Inside, Stone Love Movement's resident DJs juggled the latest 45s. Every track they dropped was met with approval from the crowd. Italians, Japanese and British people passed through to catch the vibes. Japan's Mighty Crown, Italy's One Love, Ricky Trooper and Swatch put aside their rivalries to party alongside Stone Love. Bounty Killer and Buju Banton were also in the house.

Although the passing of Mr Bogle has left a hole in the dancehall clubs and parties, other dancers and dance crews are making sure they keep Bogle's legacy alive by keeping it jiggy!!

PM: After cutting through the Kingston traffic I arrived at the Big Yard studio to be met at the gate by Voicemail, who were there nice and early for my broadcast - unusual for Jamaican artists. Big Yard has to be one of the most relaxing studios on the island and being owned by Shaggy it looks flippin' good too.

Since the show was going out live my worst fear was that none of the artists would turn up in time for the broadcast. With the current change in dancehall the professionalism of the artists has really improved.

We started the show with Voicemail, followed by a whole heap of culture artists. Fifth Element crew was in the house - Richie Spice and Chuck Fendor, plus Warrior King and Junior Kelly. Danny English gave us a memorable freestyle and really started the dancehall vibes on the show. We all know that dancehall is dominated by the male artists but the ladies were representing too - namely Sasha, Nadine Sutherland, Cecile, Macka Diamond and Sandy Star.

Although it was a three hour show I was a bit worried when Assasin and Red Square crew rolled through the Big Yard gates and we still hadn't spoken to some of the other acts in the house. So we got Assasin on quickly and he and his crew neatly blew up the show with another hot freestyle. General Degree and Lexxus had just enough time to both run through their hit catalogue in a medley style to close the show. But don't, worry myself and Seani B will be back on air Friday night on Radio 1 for another JA special live from Big Yard.
