THE BIG DAY. I woke up at 8.30am thinking "s&*t, the clock goes forward, it's 9.30, I'm late for my 9am production meeting". But when I got to the meeting place no one was there. Once again I got it wrong! There's no time change in JA. It was only 8.30am. Silly Boy.

Now that I got the timing straight, I'm ready to deal with Mixlab. Unlike Robbo's hectic show with a bag of artists, I had done all my hook ups on road during the week. But I still had to keep the concentration levels up. It was only during the show that I realised how many links I'd made during the week. I have to say respect to the production team as they had to go through all my interviews and make sense of them. Big up guys.

Once the broadcast was over I headed down to Beenie Man's yard to see if I coud get him on my new riddim Prince Charming. Seeing Beenie work was a privelege. He justs sits there vibing until lyrics start coming out of his mouth. He went through about three different hooks until BAM it just hit him! Bombs were droppin left, right and centre.

Whilst I was at Beenie's Yard I got a phone call from the new sensation Tami Chin who had just got into town. Obviously she had to hook up with the 1Xtra team, so I had to go AWOL to link her. Sanjay also turned up with another new act Alaine. When she did her No More Chakka tune live she stole the show. Look out for that on the Mixlab!

Well if the boss is happy, that's me done for another 1X outside broadcast. Tonight I'm at Quad Nightclub were I was invited to spin with Alric & Boyd from Fame FM. I'll see you guys next week.
