Megan Gait, 74, from Cwmaman, likes the proposals but does not want the genuinely ill or young mothers forced to work. "I think there are too many youngsters around with little or nothing to do," she said. "Young mothers should be paid for staying at home and then there would be more work for people who are not looking after families."
