A new truck provided through the project is used to transport harvests to market.
When the truck is running, an internal generator charges a large battery, which powers lanterns for families to use at night, allowing children to do their homework. These lanterns mean fewer fires are lit a good thing in a continent where respiratory illness is the number three killer.
The truck is also converted to serve as an ambulance. It is fitted with a mobile phone so it can be summoned by the clinic at any time.
