Antoni Imiela is being tried at Maidstone Crown Court
An alleged serial rapist boasted about having sex with a teenage prostitute a day before he is alleged to have raped a 14-year-old girl, a court has heard.

Antoni Imiela told workmates he enjoyed sex with the 18-year-old prostitute because she "was like a virgin", Maidstone Crown Court heard.

Mr Imiela, 49, from Appledore, Kent, denies nine counts of rape in Surrey, west London, Kent and Hertfordshire.

He also denies the kidnap and indecent assault of a girl, 10, in Birmingham.

He said he had been with a prostitute and she was 18 but looked a lot younger

On Friday, Kevin Williams, who worked with Mr Imiela at the Wynnwith rail maintenance company, told the jury the defendant made the comments about the prostitute to his colleagues.

He said Mr Imiela told him and other employees he had paid for sex while they were working at St Pancras station in London on 24 October 2002.

Mr Williams told the court: "He said he had been with a prostitute and she was 18 but looked a lot younger."

The court has heard that a 14-year-old girl was raped in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, the following day on 25 October 2002.

Mr Imiela denies committing the attacks which allegedly took place between November 2001 and November 2002.

The trial continues.
