 Antoni Imiela denies nine counts of rape |
The mother of a 26-year-old rape victim has told how her daughter's attacker telephoned her to boast about the crime he had just committed.
Maidstone Crown Court heard how the victim was dragged into undergrowth in a headlock and told her neck would be broken if she screamed.
Antoni Imiela is accused of raping the woman on Putney Heath, south-west London, in July 2002.
The victim's mother said she was called on her house phone and a man proceeded to tell her what he had done to he daughter.

She said: "I felt absolutely panic-stricken. I felt, what on earth has happened?
"He sounded quite pleased with himself, almost bragging about what he had done to my daughter."
The court heard how the victim's sister then called the mobile phone and was told her sister was "a bit tied up at the moment".
The victim, now 27, said she was terrified by the ordeal.
Someone running
The 49-year-old railway worker is charged with a further eight rape counts on three girls under 16 and four more women.
He is also accused of the kidnap, indecent assault and attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl in Birmingham in November 2002.
On Friday, Maidstone Crown Court heard from the 27-year-old woman who was returning from a walk on Wimbledon Common and Putney Heath when she was attacked.
She said she heard someone running behind her, but did not turn around believing it to be a jogger. "Then I felt an arm around my throat. It was extremely tight, I felt like I couldn't breathe," she said.
She screamed and was told "If you scream again I will break your neck".
Wrists tied
"I think he said 'I don't want to get caught again'," the court heard.
She said she was dragged several yards from the path in a headlock, when she asked him why he was doing this he said 'I am not getting any sex'.
"I took all the money I had and gave him �10 in an attempt to stop him," she told the court.
"He said 'That'll do for a start'."
The woman's wrists were tied behind her back and her face covered with her T-shirt.
Mr Imiela of Appledore, near Ashford, Kent, denies all of the charges.
The trial continues.
