The Break is an exciting collaboration between BBC Writersroom and BBC Drama consisting of several series of original short monologues for BBC Three. Series 1 & 2 are written by up-and-coming BAME writing talent from across the UK. Scottish writers wrote bold new short form dramas for Series 3, while Series 4 features the work of emerging writers from Northern Ireland. Series 5 are all written by disabled writers, several of whom were part of our Writers' Access Group development group.
The upcoming 6th series of The Break are all written by writers from the West Midlands region.
