Beverley in East Yorkshire is steeped in history. It started as a religious centre and grew into a vibrant trading town. Beverley has continued to develop and evolve and its history has grown with it. As part of the BBC's Turn Back Time project, Neil Pickford from Beverley Minister takes us through some of the vast history of the town over hundreds of years. 'Historic Beverley' was filmed by Paul Poulten, Peter Bond and Chris Finn from the East Yorkshire Video Camera Club. Archive material was courtesy of Beverley Treasure House.
