Video Nation Network has been working with members of the community in Whitechapel to help them explore the history of their high street as part of the BBC's Turn Back Time project. Natalie Stachon and Tanya Boyarkina joined our filmmaking workshop to make this film about how local trade and commerce has changed and developed over the past century in Whitechapel. 'Changing Trades' was produced with the support of S Chamberlain and the Media Trust. Archive material was courtesy of Gary Haines, Archivist at Whitechapel Gallery, eastlondonpostcard.co.uk, and the BBC.
