Beverley's North Bar has been a landmark in the town for hundreds of years. Its shape wasn't a problem for horse and carriages, but when buses began to operate they had to be adapted to pass through the arch. In this film, Peter Shipp, from East Yorkshire Motor Services, tells us the history of the buses in Beverley and how its public transport has evolved. 'Bus to Beverley' was produced with the support of Paul Poulten and Chris Finn from the East Yorkshire Video Camera Club and Steven and Paul Coates from East Riding College. Archive material was courtesy East Yorkshire Motor Services and Beverley Treasure House.
