The BBC Bus Stopped in Darlington where Douglas told his story. He remembers the time when he applied to work in Bangladesh on the railways. He had never even been on an aeroplane before. Douglas talks of the great cultural experience he had and the wonderful people he met and worked with. He was sorry to have to leave.
