BBC Writers Write Across Bradford - apply now
Eight-week development programme run by BBC Writers to support emerging writers and creatives based in the Bradford area, with workshops and expert sessions lead by screenwriters, producers, and commissioners. Submissions are open on the BBC Writers website now. Deadline: 10 March
BBC Young Writers' Award - apply now
Writing competition in partnership with Cambridge University for stories of up to 1,000 words by authors aged 14-18. Five shortlisted stories are broadcast on the BBC with the writers attending a creative workshop and award ceremony broadcast live on Radio 4’s Front Row. Deadline: 23 March
BBC National Short Story Award - apply now
Short story award for established authors worth £15,000. The award is for a single story of up to 8,000 words. Submissions are open now on the BBC National Short Story Award website. Deadline: 16 March
BBC Open Music Trainee Scheme - apply now
Training scheme bringing musicians and creatives across all genres and styles together to develop skills and explore collaborations across BBC orchestral and classical music. Trainees receive industry training and hands-on experience across audio, digital and live event production along with presenting, sound recording and engineering. Deadline for applications: 1 March

BBC and YouTube have partnered with the National Film and Television School to design and deliver three cutting-edge training programmes for television producers, creators and journalists.
BBC Introducing - send your music now
Bringing together all of the BBC's supporters of unsigned music. Upload your music at any time via the BBC Introducing website, get played on BBC radio stations across the country and take part in our live showcases at events including the Glastonbury festival.
BBC Upload - send your content now
Showcase your creativity on the BBC by uploading any kind of content - audio, video, text or images - and what catches our attention will be broadcast on BBC Radio stations and BBC digital platforms.
