What would I wear?
- Girl? Vintage dresses.
- Guy? Eyeliner.
- Scene Guys wear girls' jeans, Scene Girls wear guys' jeans…. interesting.
- I'd have a crazy, glam-rock 80's hair-do (usually really black or really blonde) that covers my entire face.
What about music?
- I'm often heard saying 'I've got their first unreleased album, only heard by me and 3 other people in the entire world.'
- I know more about My Chemical Romance than My Chemical Romance know about My Chemical Romance.
- If it goes mainstream, it goes DOWNstream.
- I never head bang, might mess up the hair.
What do I think?
- Online I become my Alter-Ego.
- I am cooler than thou.
- Scenesters are doing it for themselves.
I must stand out in the crowd. My hair must stand out in the crowd.
What do I do?
- I go to random gigs in random venues: Record Stores, Churches, Garages, libraries, garden sheds, toilets etc.
- I'm seen in all the most fashionable places for no particular reason except to be scene.
- I fix my hair.
How do I (social) network? (Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, MSN)
- By making Pouty Poses in pictures.
- By using screen names that combine 'cool' band names or lyrics with my own, like 'Clap Your Hands Say CLAIRE' or 'SAMisonfire.'
- I must have over 4,000,000 friends.
- Did I mention that I love my hair?
