Back to school. But which school?

The three schoolgirls.... but which school is it?
'Postcard Puzzle from the Past' is a feature on Barbara Adams' afternoon show on BBC Radio Stoke.

She wants your help, stories, tips and suggestions in trying to identify the scenes on these old local photo-postcards.

We always need pictures. Do you have any relevant pictures you can let us use?
We'd be soooo grateful

Postcard plethora
Listeners to the show, from all across Staffordshire & South Cheshire, frequently send very old topographical postcards to Barbara asking about their exact location, or even who the people are featured on these long forgotten and (probably?) local scenes.

A good school....
A strange postcard from the past this one (above) ....by the looks of the little girls' pantaloons it's somewhere at the turn of the century - back to the days when little girls wore long knickers and white frilly over- aprons.
But... that's all we know.

School houseWhat about the location ? Our school appears to be on a hill side, and the photographer may well have been standing on a hill side across the road from the building.
But which school was it?.. who are the children..? who was teaching there at the time that this photograph was taken? Did you go to this school and is it still standing?

As Lloyd Grossman once said - Over To You.....!

Postcard post
If you think you can help, even with the very slightest of information... or have some pictures that you too want identified, e-mail Barbara with the details. And, thanks!
