Dundee have confirmed that two of their officials are in Paraguay, but they will not be offering the manager's job to Francisco Ocampo.

A spokesman for the club said newspaper reports to that effect were wide of the mark.

But he admitted that chairman Jimmy Marr and commercial director Jim Connor had travelled to South America to look at players.

Ocampo is manager of Paraguayan club Sol de America but is also agent to Dundee strikers Juan Sara and Fabian Caballero.

Sara and Caballero are understood to both be in Paraguay at the moment as well.

Current Dundee manager Ivano Bonetti is due back at the club on Tuesday to begin pre-season training and the club insist he will be there.
