| Monday, 4 November, 2002, 12:49 GMT Hines and Scott step up for Scots ![]() Nathan Hines has been capped three times by Scotland Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has drafted Steve Scott and Nathan Hines into his squad for Saturday's Test against Romania. Steve Brotherstone was injured in Newcastle's loss to London Irish on Sunday, so Borders hooker Scott steps in. Glasgow's Jason White has also withdrawn from the squad with a twisted neck and Edinburgh lock Hines will provide back-row cover for club team-mate Scott Murray. Hines has won three international caps, while Scott has appeared for Scotland on seven occasions. Both men step up from the Scotland A set-up, therefore enforcing changes for the Tuesday's game against Romania A at Rubislaw on Tuesday. Allan Jacobsen (shoulder) and Gavin Kerr (calf) are both out injured for the A side, which will be captained by Glenn Metcalfe.
