Back row forwards Victor Costello and Alan Quinlan have been called into the Irish squad ahead of Saturday's friendly international against Romania in Limerick.

Leinster number eight Costello and Munster's Quinlan will be precautionary cover for Munster's Anthony Foley and Leinster's Eric Miller, who are both carrying rib injuries.

O'Sullivan and his management team are scheduled to announce their starting line-up on Tuesday.

Toughest managerial call is likely to be over the fly-half slot with Ronan O'Gara and David Humphreys hoping to get the nod.

Both produced good performances in Celtic League games over the weekend for Munster and Ulster.
