Quinnell to quit Sarries
Craig Quinnell played for Cardiff last season
Quinnell has been linked with a return to Cardiff
Welsh international second row Craig Quinnell is to leave Saracens.

The 27-year-old joined the Zurich Premiership side earlier this season and has made just six appearances for the club.

Sarries head coach Wayne Shelford said: "Knowing his strong desire to play again for his country, when a number of clubs expressed an interest, we agreed it was best for him to move on straight away.

"We wish him all the best for the future and look forward to seeing him in the colours of his country once more."

Quinell, who has represented Wales 32 times, joined the London-based club on a four-year contract, in a reported 400,000 move.

But, after undergoing knee surgery in March, he has struggled to find his form and fitness.

"I really enjoyed my three years at Richmond and wanted to come back to London," Quinnell said after announcing his move to Saracens.

"I think you have harder games in the Zurich Premiership week in and week out."

The 6'7" lock has been linked with a number of clubs, including a return to struggling Welsh giants Cardiff.
