Veivers takes Bulls post
Michael Withers charges for the line during the Bulls' Super League Grand Final defeat to St Helens
The Bulls have lost two members of their coaching staff
Bradford Bulls have recruited former Swinton coach Phil Veivers as Brian Noble's new number two at Odsal.

Veivers, who has also worked at Huddersfield, looked set to take up a post at Leigh after quitting as Lions boss at the end of last season.

He was expected to help the National League One club regroup for another crack at winning a Super League place next season.

But the lure of the Bulls, who have been looking to strengthen their coaching staff since Karl Harrison left for Salford in the summer, proved too strong.

Bulls coach Brian Noble said: "I am pleased that Phil is joining us. He has already worked at the club in a different capacity, looking after our young player's education.

"I am sure, with his experience in the game at all levels, he will add his talents to our coaching staff."

The Bulls also lost the services of defensive coach Daryl Shelford recently, who joined his brother Wayne at Saracens rugby union club.
