Beware Big Willie
Willie Mason has been brilliant for Canterbury this season
Mason goes on another rampaging run

Live commentary of the game on BBC Sport Online and BBC Five Live Sports Extra from 1015BST on Friday

How do Great Britain beat Australia in the one-off Test on Friday?

If they manage to nullify the magic of Andrew Johns, slow the rampaging Gorden Tallis and deny Darren Lockyer space to operate, they are on the right track.

But they mustn't make the fatal mistake of ignoring one of the four new caps in the Australian team, Canterbury prop Willie Mason.

It may be wise for David Waite to put some kryptonite in his players' kitbags
Tulsen Tollett

Arguably the form player in the NRL this season, he didn't feature in any of the three State of Origin fixtures.

But in each and every match he has played this season, he has been ubiquitous as the Bulldogs break records like twigs.

Look there, it's Willie. No, he's over there now. No, there he is.

Is he Superman? His afro hairdo would suggest not, but he may prove to be the red-caped one if he offloads passes, runs and tackles as he has for Canterbury.

Make no bones about it, Great Britain can win this game if 90% of the team play to their maximum capabilities.

Led by a fit Andy Farrell and a team containing hooker Keiron Cunningham and fullback Kris Radlinski, there is a real opportunity to complete a memorable smash-and-grab.

But it may be wise for David Waite to put some kryptonite in his players' kitbags just in case Mason continues the mass destruction that has shaken the NRL to its core.
