Record-breaking jockey Tony McCoy has created another piece of history, with the fastest ever century of winners.

The Ulsterman achieved the milestone at Newton Abbot on Wednesday when he crossed the line on the 2-5 favourite Toi Express.

He beat his own record by 13 days after last year reaching 100 winners on 17 September.

The latest McCoy milestone comes a week after he broke Richard Dunwoody's all-time winners record of 1,699 at Uttoxeter.

McCoy did not get off to the best of starts on Wednesday when Ela d'Argent fell in the first race.

But he bounced back to win on the 4-6 favourite Tiger Grass in the Selling Hurdle.

He followed that up with an easy five-lengths success on the Philip Hobbs-trained Toi Express in the RJB Partners Novices Chase.

McCoy completed a good afternoon with a third victory, guiding the 7-1 shot Anatar to victory in the Bailey's Irish Cream Handicap Hurdle.
