Racewatch: McCoy's record bid
Follow the action from Uttoxeter as Tony McCoy goes for glory
All the action from Uttoxeter as Tony McCoy beats Richard Dunwoody's record for the most British jump wins of all time.

McCoy's victory on Mighty Montefalco in the second race of the day sees him surpass Dunwoody's record of 1,699 wins and create his own piece of history.

1650 - Northern Racing Handicap Hurdle 2m

1 Saspys Lad (R Forristal) 2-1 Fav
2 Sunday Rain (A Dobbin) 11-2
3 Ellamine (D Howard) 11-1

Tony McCoy finishes out of the places in the final race of the day on Live The Dream.

Although the horse made much of the running early on, along with Jack, she struggled when the rest of the field upped the pace in the closing stages and finished down the field.

1550 - County Air Ambulance Novices' Hurdle 3m f

1 Do It On Dani (S Durack) 7-4
2 Delaware (A P McCoy) 13-8 Fav
3 Carpet Princess (P Holley) 10-1

Another second place for McCoy on yet another favourite, Delaware.

The main challenge comes from Seamus Durack, who shares a house with McCoy, on the second favourite Do It On Dani.

And although McCoy fights hard, it is Durack who emerges victorious after a closely contested race.

1520 - Meynell and South Staffordshire Hunt Handicap Chase 2m5f

1. Flaxley Wood (JR Kavanagh) 8-1
2. Minster York (AP McCoy)
11-8 Fav
3. Haydn James (A Bateman)
8-1

Luck deserts McCoy as his mount Minster York finishes second as he bids for five wins out of five at the course

McCoy's mount and Flaxley Wood fought out a competitive race but Flaxley Wood is the stronger over the closing stages after a couple of mistakes by Minster York.

1450 - Everedge Handicap Hurdle 3m f

1. Mighty Montefalco (AP McCoy) 8-13 Fav
2. My Good Son (DR Dennis) 7-1
3. Shifting Moon (L Aspell) 14-1

McCoy becomes the first jump jockey to ride 1,700 winners in Britain when he guides Mighty Montefalco to victory.

But McCoy was made work hard after My Good Son made most of the running.

McCoy kept his horse challenging going into the final couple of fences and jumped the last in the lead.

He held grimly on to win and it was another moment to savour for the record-breaking Ulsterman.

1420 - Countryside Alliance Novices' Chase 2m

1. Dream With Me (AP McCoy) 1-3 Fav
2. Bentyheath Lane (R Farrant) 16-1
3. Top Nolans (R Forristal) 10-1

A very easy victory for McCoy on yet another Martin Pipe-trained horse as he equals Richard Dunwoody's record of 1,699 winners.

After being well in contention for the first mile or so, McCoy upped the pace going into the final half mile, leaving his rivals trailing.

Dream With Me safely negotiated the remaining fences for a comfortable victory by nine lengths.
