McBride is hoping to steer Omagh to MacRory glory
Abbey CBS maintained their 100 per cent in this year's Bank of Ireland MacRory Cup by defeating St Patrick's Dungannon 1-11 to 0-7 in Saturday's Group B game at Coalisland.

The win books Abbey's place in the quarter-finals after Christmas.

Dungannon have no chance of making the last eight after losing their four opening games.

Also in Group B on Saturday, Omagh defeated St Patrick's Armagh 0-9 to 0-3 while St Michael's Enniskillen edged out St MacCartan's Monaghan 2-8 to 0-11.

The win brings Omagh up to seven points from four games while Armagh seem out of contention having gained only two points from four games.

Holders St Michael's Enniskillen now have five points from three games while St MacCartan's have two points from four matches.

In Group A, St Colman's Newry defeated St Patrick's Maghera 1-8 to 1-6 in the top-of-the-table clash.

St Colman's have maximum points from three games while Maghera have four points from the same amount of games.
