The race to conclude the Harp Lager Armagh Football Championship is scheduled to continue on Sunday

Silverbridge is down as the venue for a double-header with seven-in-a-row seeking Crossmaglen taking on Keady (1400 BST) and Dromintee and Pearse Ogs next up (1600).

However, heavy rain in the last couple of days have left the Silverbridge pitch waterlogged and there is a possibility that the second game could have to be switched to another venue.

Armagh officials want to finish the championship by 20 October so that the county can have a representative for the first round of the Ulster Club Championship a week later.

O'Rourke brothers

Crossmaglen started slowly against Silverbridge last weekend but they should be too strong for Keady on Sunday.

Oisin McConville hit 1-8 in that game while James Hughes, Cathal Short and late substitute Stephen Kernan were also highly impressive.

Keady will be looking to All-Ireland medallists John Toal and Paul McCormack to produce big hours.

The Dromintee team is built around the four O'Rourke brothers including county stars Aidan and Cathal.

Pearse Og include countymen Ronan Clarke and Kieran Hughes plus former Armagh full-forward Ger Houlahan.
