Edwards: We're improving
Preston defender Rob Edwards has said that the team are getting used to life under new boss Craig Brown.

Since taking over at Deepdale the former Scotland manager has changed the system, reverting from the 4-4-2 favoured by previous boss David Moyes to a 3-5-2 formation.

I think we are improving and that is the main thing
Rob Edwards
After losing the opening game of the season 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace, Preston have been unbeaten - winning once and drawing three times.

And Edwards - a regular in Brown's team - is confident the new system is starting to pay dividends.

"We definitely feel we are picking up the new system," Edwards told BBC Sport Online.

"Managers have different systems and it is up to the players to get used to them.

"We're now doing okay but we need to try and win a few more games. I think we are improving and that is the main thing."

Brown was brought in as boss at Deepdale after Moyes departed for Premiership Everton.

The position marks a return to club management for Brown after a lengthy period as an international manager - but Edwards said he is similar in his dedication to the former boss.

"They are not too different - they are both really passionate about football."
