Exeter await Brazilian
Exeter City will be able to complete the signing of defender Marcio dos Santos Gaia when he returns from Brazil with the necessary paperwork.

The Grecians were having problems in obtaining international clearance to sign the 22-year-old and drafted in local MP Ben Bradshaw to help out.

"We have done all the paperwork at this end and given him a contract to take home with him so he can get everything sorted out," said Exeter City boss Cornforth.

Santos has impressed during Exeter's pre-season friendlies and Bradshaw is confident the club will complete the signing.

The central defender is expected to return to Britain later this week.
