| Friday, 3 January, 2003, 12:56 GMT Everton look to Turner ![]() Wright is Everton's first-choice goalkeeper Everton have completed the signing of goalkeeper Iain Turner from Stirling Albion. The 18-year-old, who was out of contract at Albion, has been snapped up by the Toffees after impressing boss David Moyes. Turner has conceded just one goal in his last four games for the Binos and will work under Richard Wright, Steve Simonsen, Paul Gerrard and new signing Espen Baardsen at Goodison Park. Moyes said: "We made a small offer to Stirling and it was turned down. "The boy is out of contract and the fee will now be decided by a tribunal." Moyes has already taken advantage of the January transfer window to complete a double loan deal for USA striker Brian McBride and Egypt defender Ibrahim Said. |
