Campo reprieved
Bolton's Ivan Campo and Arsenal's Ray Parlour
Campo (left) receives his marching orders
Bolton's Ivan Campo has had one of the yellow cards he received at Arsenal on Saturday withdrawn and is free from suspension.

The Trotters midfielder was dismissed by referee David Pugh near the end of the 2-1 reverse at Highbury after picking up a second yellow card.

Campo threw the ball away as Arsenal were trying to line up a free-kick following an incident involving Gunners midfielder Ray Parlour,

But the Football Association's website, www.thefa.com, has revealed that Pugh has watched footage of the incident and decided the Spaniard did not deserve the second yellow card.

"We can confirm that following the sending off, referee David Pugh has informed the Football Association that, having viewed a video of the incident, he now wishes to withdraw the second booking," a statement said.

"Therefore, only the first caution for dissent will be recorded against the player and he will not be required to serve a suspension."
