Seconds later referee Hugh Dallas blows the final whistle, sparking scenes of jubilation among the Rangers players - who have completed a Scottish cup double. 87 mins: Didier Agathe whips a dangerous cross into the Rangers penalty area but Henrik Larsson spoons his header over the crossbar. It has been a poor display from the usually prolific Swede. 83 mins: Johan Mjallby clears off the line from Fernando Ricksen after Rob Douglas had spilled the ball, causing chaos in the Celtic penalty area. Balde celebrates by removing his shirt charging towards the half-way line. 48 mins: Hartson is booked for a scything tackle on Shota Arveladze. 1603 BST: The second-half begins with Rangers on the attack. 1547 BST: Referee Hugh Dallas brings a frenetic first-half to a close. Rangers came back strongly after conceding and arguably held the ascendancy in the final 15 minutes. 43 mins: Celtic's Paul Lambert - a big doubt before the game with an ankle injury - cannot carry on and is replaced by Jackie McNamara. 39 mins: Henrik Larsson and Amoruso tangle in the Rangers penalty area and the Swede goes to ground - but referee Hugh Dallas dismisses any penalty appeals. 31 mins: Balde is booked by referee Dallas for an ugly lunge on Ricksen. 24 mins: After equalising, Rangers continue to push forward and Peter Lovenkrands forces a save from Douglas with a precise left-foot volley. 21 mins: Lovenkrands equalises for Rangers - his fourth goal against Celtic this season. Two Celtic defenders fail to clear an optimistic punt up field and the ball breaks to the Danish striker, who cuts inside and drives left-footed past Douglas to quickly restore parity. 19 mins: Celtic take the lead through John Hartson. Balde's scuffed header from a Celtic corner fortuitously bounces to Hartson, who heads home from short range for his first Old Firm goal. The Rangers defence were guilty of ball watching as the ball travelled from Bolde to Hartson. 19 mins: Hartson forces an athletic save from Stefan Klos with a cross-cum-shot that the goalkeeper knocks out for a corner. 15 mins: Claudio Caniggia is fouled by Chris Sutton, injuring his knee. The Argentine leaves the field for treatment and four minutes later is replaced by Arveladze. 3 mins: Lorenzo Amoruso heads over from a Ferguson free kick. The defender could have made more of an excellent chance. 1500 BST: Henrik Larsson starts the match at Hampden Park. Team news Celtic's Paul Lambert passed a fitness test on his ankle to take his place in the starting line-up. Chris Sutton also returned to the team after recovering from injury but Stephen Crainey missed out through injury. Maurice Ross was named in the Rangers team, with Fernando Ricksen set to play in midfield. Manager Alex McLeish took the expected gamble on Ronald de Boer, who has recovered from a broken toe. But there was no place in the starting line-up for Andrei Kanchelskis, Christian Nerlinger and Tore Andre Flo.
