| Saturday, 9 November, 2002, 18:12 GMT Ross County 0-2 Inverness CT Inverness outclassed neighbours Ross County to win a one-sided Highland derby. In the week Caley manager Steve Paterson signed a new five-year contract, his team turned on the style in front of over 5,000 fans at Victoria Park. Barry Robson caught the County defence napping after just 40 seconds when he curled the ball past goalkeeper Tony Bullock from 20 yards. The visitors extended their lead in the eighth minute when a seemingly harmless cross from Ross Tokely was blasted high into his own net by former Caley captain Mark McCulloch. Inverness continued to dictate the pace and it took County until the 55th minute to manage a shot on target. Steve Ferguson's effort was easily held by goalkeeper Mark Brown.
