| Tuesday, 18 February, 2003, 18:00 GMT McCall keen on Falkirk pair ![]() Collin Samuel scored successive hat-tricks Dundee United manager Ian McCall says he would love to take former charges Collin Samuel and Mark Kerr to Tannadice in the summer. The former Falkirk boss was speaking as he collected the Bell's manager of the month award for January for his achievements at Brockville. In a clean sweep for the First Division leaders, Samuel was collecting the player of the month award and Kerr was named best young player. McCall has already stated his admiration for a number of his former stars and he underlined that on Thursday. "Collin did very well on trial down at Everton, as did Lee Miller, so there will be a few clubs sniffing about him," he said. "My gut feeling is that he may be Premiership-bound, but we'll monitor the situation. "Mark Kerr is one of the best young midfielders in the country, not far off the level of Stephen Hughes, in my opinion." Samuel himself admitted the experience of playing under McCall had been the best of his career. "The time I spent down at Everton was also fantastic experience," added the striker. "But you never know what the future holds." | See also: 13 Feb 03 | Scot Div 2 13 Feb 03 | Scot Div 3 03 Feb 03 | Football 02 Feb 03 | Football 13 Feb 03 | Dundee Utd Top Football stories now: Links to more Football stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
