| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 18:20 GMT Jewell stays calm Wigan boss Paul Jewell has played down the importance of this weekend's top-of-the-table clash with Crewe. The Division Three leaders meet second-placed Crewe at Gresty Road with a nine-point advantage. And he admitted that their opponents will provide a stiff test to their title credentials. "On their day they're probably the best footballing side in this division - I think everyone acknowledges that," he told the club's website. "They're a threat going forward and are on a good run of late. "But there's more pressure on them than us as they need the result more, but with our away form being better than our home it should be a really good game. "I hear we've sold all our tickets which is brilliant and the support will be very important. "It's a big game, the league table shows that. But as I said before and after the Bristol game, what happens now decides nothing. "Prizes are only handed out in May." |
